# How to Add a Card to Amazon

1. Open the Amazon App and sign in to your account.
2. In the top-right corner, go to Your Payments and select Add a payment method.
3. Enter your card number, cardholder name, expiration date, and security code (CVV).
4. Confirm the billing address and click Add your card to complete the setup.

* During the card binding process, Amazon may initiate a small pre-authorization charge (approximately USD 1) to verify the validity of the card. This amount will be automatically refunded.<br>
* It is recommended to enter the correct billing address associated with your credit card to reduce the risk of verification failure or payment interception.
