How to Complete Identity Verification (KYC)

1

Click “Next”.

2

Upload identity document photos.

  • Users must upload document types supported by HoyaPay. If a certain document type does not appear in the app, it means that document is not supported for identity verification in that country or region.

  • HoyaPay only accepts original documents for verification and does not support photocopies, printouts, screenshots, or photos of non-original documents.

  • If uploading both front and back of the document is required, please make sure to submit clear photos of both sides of the same document belonging to the same person. Missing either side or uploading front and back of different documents or individuals will cause verification failure.

  • Document images must be clear and complete. If any information is obscured, or if the document is damaged, has strong glare, or the image is blurry, verification may fail.

  • Please ensure the uploaded document has at least three months of validity remaining, otherwise it will not meet the verification requirements and will be rejected.

3

Complete facial recognition verification.

  • Facial recognition must be completed by the user themselves and does not support using photos.

  • Use the device’s front camera for facial recognition.

  • Ensure good network connection and proper lighting so your face is clearly visible.

  • Hold your device vertically during facial recognition. Using the device upside down or sideways may cause failure.

  • Make sure no unrelated people or objects enter the camera frame during the process.

  • Look directly at the camera and avoid shaking the device to prevent verification failure.

4

Submit a personal declaration (if required by the system).

If the system prompts “Additional information required”, please fill out and submit the personal declaration form. The review will take approximately 3–5 days after submission. Please complete the submission within 14 days; failure to submit within this period will result in automatic verification failure.
