What to do if you do not receive the SMS verification code

If you do not receive the SMS verification code, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check your phone number

Make sure the number you entered is in the correct format and includes the correct country code.

2. Check your inbox and blocked messages

  • Ensure the message was not filtered into your spam or junk folder.

  • Check whether HoyaPay or the sending number has been added to your blocked or blacklisted contacts.

3. Wait a moment or resend

Sometimes SMS delivery may be delayed. Please wait 1–2 minutes and tap “Resend Code” to request a new message.

4. Switch networks or restart your phone

Try connecting to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network, or restart your phone to refresh the connection.

5. Issues with overseas numbers or carriers

Some telecom providers may block international SMS messages. Please confirm that your number can receive international verification messages.

6. Switch to WhatsApp verification

If none of the above works, try receiving the verification code via WhatsApp.
